AIZOME(藍染:Japanese Indigo Dyeing)Workshop

A Japanese indigo dyeing studio KOSOUEN has still kept dyeing in an authentic and traditional method.

You're going to dye a handkerchief by soaking and rubbing the cloth in a vat filled with indigo liquid. You can make your own handicrafts and take it home as a souvenir.

There is a showroom in this studio where we can buy their original products.

Soba Noodles

Lunch at a local reataurant where you can enjoy Soba noodles which are made from buckwheat flour and deep fried local vegetables which are fresh and delicious.

Nippara Limestone Cave

This big cave is one of the most famous limestone caves in Japan, and it keeps the temperature at 11℃ inside all year. Enjoy viewing the illuminated beautiful cave and feeling the mystical atmosphere.

Sake Brewery Tour

5 sake factories are located in this area because of the fresh and clean water from rivers. All the breweries are founded over 120 years ago and the oldest is established in 1702. 2 buildings are nationally registered tangible cultural properties. Enjoy taking one of the guided brewery tours and knowing how to make sake and how the factories are. And sake sampling is also available to find your favorite one and buy it or two on the spot.

Traditional Japanese Full-course Dinner

Savor an amazing Japanese cuisine at a traditional authentic architectural-style restaurant. They serve seasonal local food on unique serving dishes made of natural materials like bamboo, large leaves, or sometimes fruits. You can enjoy the taste and the pretty appearance.

Meets a guide & concludes at 新宿駅 Shinjuku station in central Tokyo at 8:00am & 9:00pm (approx.).
*We take a train to SATOYAMA @TOKYO area from Shinjuku, and make a tour by a chartered vehicle. On the return trip, guide services end after guiding you to a train for Shinjuku station.
